I was looking at using Mighty Shed's Cabana, but had concerns about adequate insulation. Looking to build this in Long Beach, WA area, and their insulation package only takes you to R12.9, which is a bit light for winter temps. If you have the plans and possibly a bill of materials list, I'd be interested in obtaining that if you'd be willing to share them.
Thanks so much
Judd SillsAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10374904693092282847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2116613742152848437.post-64311065158824080412017-05-05T10:59:36.661-07:002017-05-05T10:59:36.661-07:00what's the reason for all the holes above the... what's the reason for all the holes above the reservoir.Mamahaghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14267881999003648667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2116613742152848437.post-1708916199304820212017-04-07T22:38:21.127-07:002017-04-07T22:38:21.127-07:00I bought lowes hemlock fir board 16 feet long 1 fo...I bought lowes hemlock fir board 16 feet long 1 foot wide and had it cut into two 5 foot and two 3 foot sections to make a 3x5x1 raised bed tomorrow. The hemlock beds had way more rot and at some spots it was completely rotted through. The other beds had rot as well, but the worst rot spots made it half way through the wood. They were both still usable, I just replaced the bottom boards. The top boards are all OK.

If I was doing this over again I'd use cedar, even if it costs extra. This hole is filled with dirt (roots when plants mature) and absorbs the water bringing it from the reservoir to the plant. It keeps the soil from being soggy and rotting the root system.Diem Chauhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10045341089709984062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2116613742152848437.post-68710801551124233292016-03-16T14:05:20.194-07:002016-03-16T14:05:20.194-07:00I'm a tad confused; do you water through the p...I'm a tad confused; do you water through the pipe or just water from the top? This team effort of you and your boy, brought enjoyment not only to me, but for many others, too. Thank you for sharing some of his fascinating ways with us over the years. I'm so sorry that you had to part ways with him in life... if only, we could have them forever in our world... to age with us and for it not to be so brief. Sadly, it can't be so and we have to explore treasured memories and moments together instead. You have given all in love, though! And, he can take this with him and your heart can carry this as proof for always. They will never cease in memory and heart... it takes just a simple moment for you to be transported back to times together. And, you must go back over these moments to keep breathing in those tender and loving interactions spent with each other. Our boys (fur companions) have given us so much to appreciate and taught us the greatest love of all... unconditional that it is.
