To carve a crayon seemed to me already very difficult, but those pencils made me gasp!! I love your art, I'm happy to have stumbled upon your blog...Memi The Rainbowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13890208155847788510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2116613742152848437.post-49807546359295696382010-12-27T11:02:48.061-08:002010-12-27T11:02:48.061-08:00Thanks Lynda :) I have a show coming up at the Be...Thanks Lynda :) I have a show coming up at the Bellevue Art Museum.Diem Chauhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10045341089709984062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2116613742152848437.post-39400406297694182952010-12-26T00:15:32.262-08:002010-12-26T00:15:32.262-08:00Hi, Diem Chau! I really like your style. If they get too hot I leave fingerprints behind. It's a balance. When I work in the summer time I'll take breaks and soak my hand in ice water to cool them down. In the winter I hold the crayons for awhile before starting to warm them up a bit. Funny how there's so much to know about such a simple task.Diem Chauhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10045341089709984062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2116613742152848437.post-7224919620967750242010-12-14T21:13:44.607-08:002010-12-14T21:13:44.607-08:00Hello,
